Software Engineer II/III
Our Software Development Engineers develop web technologies to support the global efforts of the Fire and EMS industry. We are passionate about our support of the Agile principles of software development and have embraced a scrum development methodology with strong emphasis on continuous improvement.
As a Software Engineer II or III you will be working with or leading a small scrum team with a large potential for learning and growth. With your technical expertise you will manage individual projects tasks, deadlines and deliverables as you design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. Position requires Bachelor’s degree with more than two years development experience and expertise working in SQL Server or other equivalent experience. Emergency Reporting is on the exciting front line of Scrum development techniques. The ScrumMaster role is an intricate part of delivering product deliverables to our customers. This position is tasked with helping to promote Scrum values and principals and to ensure a healthy status of scrum techniques with their team. As the ScrumMaster, you would act as a servant leader by facilitating team meetings, fostering positive team dynamics, continuing with your own personal scrum development, and passing on your knowledge of scrum to your team.
As part of the Project Management Group, this position provides support for new or existing customer implementations, change orders, or internal Emergency Reporting projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with team leadership, senior project managers, project managers to complete a variety of assignments that are integral to the timely and successful launch and completion of both internal and external projects.
As a Project Coordinator, you would have the responsibility to manage the implementation of new accounts and upgrades for current clients working closely with Finance, Sales, Training, CAD and Support.
This position provides product ownership (PO) in one or more areas of the Emergency Reporting product lines. The desired candidate should have Fire and EMS industry knowledge in a variety of specialties, such as NFIRS & NEMSIS, Occupancy/Fire Inspections, Data Analytics/Reports, Hydrants, Maintenance, personnel management, etc. plus other specialties inside and outside the Fire/EMS industry. Experience in Software as a Service (SAAS) software development and Agile/Scrum practices is preferred.
As the PO, you will determine which features and functionality are added to the product lines based on stakeholder input, and provide overall vision of the product and its future evolution.
