CAD Interface

We can usually configure your account to create new incident records in near-real time that are pre-filled with “who, what, when, where, why, how” data pulled directly from your agency's local 911 dispatch system. As dispatchers enter new information for complex and rapidly evolving incidents, Emergency Reporting’s CAD interface will also transmit, configure and download that new data into your account, updating your run reports on the fly.

Configuring a new CAD interface is by nature a complicated affair, requiring a large investment of time and resources on the part of dispatch personnel and Emergency Reporting staff alike. It may be worthwhile to contact neighboring agencies who use the same Emergency Reporting CAD interface to discuss cost-sharing measures; there’s a good chance their treasurer will be happy to split the bill with you.

Once the link is operational, our Support staff will show you how to match dispatch codes to your unique agency codes using a simple online tool right in your account. From there, you can step back and let the interface do the rest of the work.
